Download Festival 2024 Unveils Massive Line-Up with Queens of the Stone Age, Fall Out Boy, and Avenged Sevenfold as Headliners
In a seismic announcement, Download Festival 2024 has shaken the music scene with the revelation of its headliners and a robust lineup featuring over 80 bands. Emerging from the echoes of the four-day 20th-anniversary extravaganza held earlier this year, festival organizers proudly declare that Download has undergone a transformative rebirth, now aptly known as DLXXI.
Set to dominate the stage at Donington Park in June are the much-anticipated debut headliners Queens of the Stone Age, alongside the charismatic Fall Out Boy and the formidable Avenged Sevenfold, returning after headlining in 2014 and 2018.
Queens of the Stone Age, having graced the main stage in 2013 just before Iron Maiden, and Fall Out Boy, who last captivated Download audiences in 2014 as main support for Linkin Park, are poised to bring their unique energy to the festival.
In a monumental return to the UK stage after two decades, Pantera is slated to deliver an unforgettable performance. Joining them on the weekend bill are a stellar lineup including Corey Taylor, Those Damn Crows, Machine Head, Royal Blood, The Offspring, Sum 41, Fear Factory, BABYMETAL, Lord of the Lost, While She Sleeps, Billy Talent, Biohazard, and Bowling For Soup.
The DLXXI roster boasts an array of talent, featuring Elvana, The Used, Hoobastank (performing ‘The Reason’ in full), Atreyu, Counterparts, Bad Omens, Dying Fetus, The Black Dahlia Murder, Holding Absence, Silverstein, Polyphia, Charlotte Sands, Thy Art Is Murder, Fit For A King, Wargasm, and many more.
With the promise of more bands to be revealed in the coming weeks, general sale tickets for Download Festival 2024 are set to go on sale at 9 pm on Thursday, November 9th. The anticipation builds for a weekend of musical brilliance, marking another chapter in the storied history of Download Festival.
