   Evanescence should play at download 2009. They are fantastic, dl 2007 was brill. Evanescence are the best band ever.

   i dont think it will happen again this year but seeing H.i.m do download 2009 would be amazing or any finnish bands for that matter wooo gotta lov download

   evanescence have to he at download 2009 or i might just kill myself.
   they are due to release a new album early 2009 so they sould he there, hopefully.

   oh and metallica too with there kick ass new album, if both of these bands are there holy shit it will fucking rock.

   you are both qrong avenged sevenfold are the best band ever… so ha ther ya go n ther is no judgement in it either they are all the best at wat they do ther muic is actually just insane its amazing ther talented gods thats wat a7x are slipknot our evanesance our any one cant even come close to compare to a7x my spelling is shit btw hands are cold so hard to type lol

   Alter Bridge / 3 Doors Down / Logan and Slipknot have to be there not forgetting ACDC if possible now that would be fucking awesome

   being a huge metal fan i don’t think im satisfied enough with the line ups. i guess it looks better than last year but what makes it look better to me is that amon amarth and in flames are there.but i think the rest of the bands playing make it look as if it’s more for little kids :\

   i reckon it could do with a hell of a load more of some death or black metal…..bloodbath perhaps?

    As much as i want evanescence to be there, i dont think they will be, because they were at download last year? I love evanescence, if i wanted to see any band the most at download it would be evanescence.
    Im glad slipknot are there though.

    I think it’s a quality nine up. If we had some rammstein or NIN it would make my day. Or machine head but they’d have to be a headliner so I presume we can rule that one out :-p

    NIN are playing the Sonisphere festival at Knebworth at the start of August, Ramstein are ‘Rumoured’ on Efestivals to be at Download.

    I would love Evanescence to play…as I’ve never seen them. I saw Within Temptation last year year too, it’d be awesome if they came back this year ..even Epica!
    I would also love for HIM to play as they were fantastic last year. More bands from the Netherlands I say!!

    Does anybody think Avenged Sevenfold will play? They played Leeds fest last year…

    i agree with hazel bout the alterbidge and logan part, 3 doors down are good but i’m not too bothered if they play or not. Alice In Chains! they are a must. Alice in Chains, Alterbridge, Seether, Logan, they all deserve to play

    disturbed, killswitch engage (with new album), Rise Against, Three Days Grace, As I Lay Dying, Bullet for my Valentine, Shadows Fall, HIM, now THATS a lineup if i ever saw one…and to that dude who said evanescence;; just go jump off a bridge buddy,, id rather sit through an opera than waste my hard earned cash on thoes try hard sellouts, sorry mate.

    I think killswitch, would be a great addition to the festival this year i’d like to see HIM again last year they were on the tuborg stage headlined on the saturday i’d like to see them on the main stage this year because they are really really good live

    Slipknot are shit, Blink 182 are shit, Evanescence are shit, BFMV are shit, Bowling For Soup are shit, Killswitch Engage are shit, Pendulum is booming nig-nog music, Rammstein are FUCKING shit (and fucking Nazis), Guns n’Roses are no longer Guns n’ Roses, and haven’t been for years (Ginger Tosspot’s Travelling Circus and Beefing Act etc.), Motley Crue are FA-HOOKING shit, and if you think Avenged Sevenfold are the best band ever, you need your bastarding head checking, you trout.

    I went to download this year and it was so immense, Slipknot put on a great show and so did hatebreed.

    [...] The organiser of Download 2010 have announced that Aerosmith and RATM are going to be headliners alongside AC/DC. The Castle Doningtion based music festival takes place on the weekend of 11th to 13th July 2010. Along with Rage Against The Machine and Aerosmith other acts added today include Stone Sour, Billy Idol, 30 Seconds to Mars, Lamb Of God, and Five Finger Death Punch. Aerosmith return to donington after 16yrs having played the Monsters of Rock festival in 1994. The latest acts are added to line up including Them Crooked Vultures, Wolfmother, Bullet For My Valentine, Motorhead, Deftones, Stone Temple Pilots, Volbeat, and Megadeth also confirmed.
